As Red White and Brew Beer Co continues to establish its presence in the craft beverage industry, the core mission and values will persist, as these are crucial to the success of our organization. These values will continually guide how we act as individuals, as team members, and as a company.

Every member within the company and any third-party partners acting on our behalf are empowered to make decisions that impact our reputation with each other, with our customers, with our partners and with our communities. Thus, it is imperative that we act in an honest, transparent and ethical fashion in every facet of our company. This effort will create a cohesive culture and brand that we can all be proud of and excited to share.

Our Code of Conduct is a resource and a guide to help promote good decision making and ethical practices, but it does not cover every possible scenario that you may encounter. Ultimately it is up to each of us as individuals to make ethical decisions and to drive our values every day in our words and our actions. If you are ever uncertain how to handle a situation or have a questions or concerns, please speak up and feel confident that you are being heard.

Our Code of Conduct


Our Code of Conduct is summarized in 9 Principles. These Principles apply to all Red White and Brew employees, business owners, board members, consultants, contractors and any others representing or acting on behalf of Red White and Brew.


Principle 1: Anti-Retaliation

Red White and Brew does not tolerate retaliatory action against or victimization of any employee or partner that raises issues, makes reports, participates in an investigation, refuses to participate in improper activity or exercises workplace rights protected by law. Any Red White and Brew owner, partner or employee that retaliates against another team member or violates this policy is subject to disciplinary action up to and including termination.


Principle 2: Honesty, Integrity and Fair Play

Red White and Brew and its staff are fully committed to the principle of honesty, integrity and fair play in the delivery of services and goods to the public. All staff should ensure that the business operations, applications for services, procurement or staff recruitment, are dealt with in an open, fair and impartial manner.


Principle 3: Equal Opportunity for All Employees

Red White and Brew is an equal employment opportunity employer. Employment opportunities are available regardless of race, color, sex, religion, national origin, age, disability or other legally protected status. This Principle applies to all aspects of the employment relationship, including recruiting, hiring, training, work assignment, promotion, transfer, termination, and wage and salary administration.


Principle 4: Safety, and Health Practices

Red White and Brew is committed to an injury-free and illness-free workplace that is operated in an environmentally sound manner in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations that protect worker safety and the environment. Employees should perform work in a safe manner. Working safely is a responsibility of all team members regardless of position. Every team member is empowered with the right to “Stop Work” if they feel there is a credible threat to the safety of themselves or any other team members. A Stop Work condition must be addressed immediately and may not be ignored by the current manager or owner on duty. Any Red White and Brew owner, partner or employee that ignores a credible “Stop Work” condition or violates this policy is subject to disciplinary action up to and including termination.


Principle 5: Harassment Free Work Environment

Red White and Brew team members are enabled to work in a space that is free of harassment, bullying and discrimination. Examples of these offenses could include the following:

  • Unwelcome remarks, gestures or physical contact
  • The display or circulation of offensive, derogatory or sexually explicit pictures or other materials
  • Offensive or derogatory jokes or comments (explicit or by innuendo)
  • Verbal or physical abuse or threats

Any Red White and Brew owner, partner or employee that commits action of harassment, bullying or discrimination or otherwise violates this policy is subject to disciplinary action up to and including termination.


Principle 6: Diversity

Red White and Brew promotes an inclusive environment for all people. We are all unique with our own individual personalities, preferences and beliefs. It is a core tenant that we should be celebrating our strengths and our differences. Red White and Brew and its team members must respect diversity within our company, our customers, our partners and our suppliers. Red White and Brew team members and customers are asked to promote inclusion and refuse to engage in or tolerate any other form of discrimination or harassment. If you witness any malicious acts that go against this policy, please raise the issue up to management or ownership so it can be addressed swiftly.


Principle 7: Respect

Red White and Brew promotes respect internally and externally. Simply put, without respect, none of the other principles are effective. It is imperative we are trustworthy and give respect to one another in all interactions. It is ok to have different opinions or disagree on the best way to handle a scenario, but it is not justifiable to be rude, dismissive or disrespectful. Respect is demanded and non-negotiable at Red White and Brew.


Principle 8: Transparency

Red White and Brew values transparency at its core. Other than any proprietary trade secrets or privileged and confidential personal information, there are no “hidden doors” or off-limits information. This includes financial health of the business, direction the company is taking, pay levels and job tracking. Red White and Brew encourages open commentary throughout the company as it allows us to constantly re-examine our products, services and performance and thus to continuously improve.


Principle 9: Obey The Law

Although simple, it is imperative that Red White and Brew team members obey all relative laws while representing the company. Any Red White and Brew owner, partner or employee that breaks the law is subject to disciplinary action up to and including termination.

What Should I Do?


The guidelines below can be used to make the right decision:

  1. Identify the ethical or moral problem at hand
    • List possible solutions and any obstacles to resolving the problem.
    • Consider pros and cons to each possible solution

  2. Seek input from others, if appropriate

  3. Determine the best approach
    • Is it consistent with Our Mission and Values and any applicable law or regulation?
    • What would your family and friends think of your decision?
    • Would you be comfortable with the example it sets for future decisions?
